My Board Coach
Do you need a bit of extra help reaching your leadership goals? Getting past those familiar “sticking” points? Or nudging your board past inertia and into a more vibrant place? The My Board Coach virtual coaching program can help.
What is My Board Coach?
This is a coaching program for boards that takes place over a telephone conference line. Calls are recorded and available for later download so that you and your team can be fully engaged in the conversation rather than struggling to take notes. The board chair, the executive committee, or any number of board members can participate in coaching, though you’ll identify a project leader.
How Does It Work?
My Board Coach offers you a 30-, 60-, or 90-day engagement, each with an introductory session and several hours of coaching time. You’ll find more about this below.
During the introductory session we’ll identify the issues you want to address and the outcomes you want to achieve. And we’ll schedule your coaching calls for the coming weeks. You can expect homework in between and feedback from me during subsequent calls.
And here’s a bonus. My Board Coach is really “coaching-plus.” Along the way, you’ll have the option of using your coaching time for coaching, virtual training, or even hands-on help from me–whichever best helps your board reach its performance objectives. It’s important to me that I help you meet your leadership goals, and coaching alone may not be the fastest way to achieve that.
