GrantWriting Jumpstart!

Nonprofit agencies need increasing funds to meet ever-increasing service demands. But many agencies–especially smaller and newer ones– have no grant writers on staff and can’t engage a consultant each time a new Request for Proposals (RFP) arises.  If you’re new to grantwriting and need a do-it-yourself solution, consider this one:

GrantWriting  Jumpstart!™ is a 40-day boot camp for grantwriting novices. You’ll learn grantwriting basics and receive the materials and coaching you need to create your own grant proposal template–your guide for future proposals.

I’ll share keys to making your proposal “sing,”

tips for keeping your grant template fresh,

and ways to avoid “kiss of death” mistakes.

There is no guarantee that even the best-written proposal will be funded, since requests outstrip available funds. But you NEVER want to disqualify your own proposal with a weak presentation or by making common avoidable mistakes.

How GrantWriting Jumpstart!™ Works

The 40-day program begins with a grantwriting class and offers materials, coaching, and work sessions to help you master grantwriting basics. After you register, you’ll get the introduction package with your program agenda and resource information. We’ll set dates for your  grantwriting class and work sessions together. At the end of the program, you should not only understand the key components of successful grantwriting, but have a grant template to use as a guide for future proposals.
